Garbanzo Noodles (quick)
Dispel the last shivers of winter with this savory
soup. The ingredients provide rich flavor. There are 8 grams of
protein in every cup of soup. Delicious served with carrot salad, a
green vegetable, and crackers or croutons.
This dish can be prepared quickly. It heats while
you listen to the children, toss a salad, and steam a couple of
vegetables for an evening meal.
Ingredients
1 package whole wheat noodles or lasagna noodles, cooked
2 15-oz. cans garbanzos, drained (or 3 cups of cooked garbanzos)
1 small can mushrooms
1 can mushroom soup or homemade mushroom soup to moisten
Chicken-style seasoning to taste
Directions
Mix and bake at 3500F until
heated. Serves 6-8.
