Island Soybeans (a quickie)
Perk up a quick evening meal by adding a tropical
taste to soybeans. Delicious with salad and a green vegetable, perhaps
broccoli.
Ingredients
1 onion
1 bell pepper
1 cup crushed pineapple, not drained
2 16-oz. cans of Soybeans
1/4 cup to 1/2 cup tomato sauce
Directions
Sauté one chopped onion and one chopped bell pepper in oil until limp.
Add tomato sauce and soybeans and simmer 15 minutes. Add pineapple and
heat through. Serves 4.
